Kindergarteners in Mr. Max’s art class got some hands-on experience with pumpkins seeds. Their reactions were precious! Sven-Erik Spichiger, Hood Canal Parent and Pest Program Manager for the WSDA, brought his incredible insect collection to our school and shared his vast knowledge and experience fighting invasive pests with our 7th and 8th grade students. The students were fascinated by all of the variety of insects and by Mr. Spichiger's strategies for eradicating pests that threaten local agriculture.
