Our amazing Builders Club students have been hard at work creating homemade cat toys and dog treats as part of a fundraiser for animal welfare in honor of our beloved Lois Wagner. Our students have been having a lot of fun in the Early Learning Center. They thoroughly enjoyed painting pumpkins, singing songs with Dr. Gibbon, and spending time in the gym, including the climbing wall! What a great place to be!

📅 The Care-a-Van mobile immunization crew is coming to Hood Canal School on Wednesday, November 13th, from 12-4pm!
Our nurse, Lindsey Allwine, will be on-site to help coordinate and make sure everything runs smoothly. This is a great opportunity for the 10% of our students who are currently out of compliance with state-mandated vaccines to get caught up easily, with free immunizations available.

Kindergarteners in Mr. Max’s art class got some hands-on experience with pumpkins seeds. Their reactions were precious! Sven-Erik Spichiger, Hood Canal Parent and Pest Program Manager for the WSDA, brought his incredible insect collection to our school and shared his vast knowledge and experience fighting invasive pests with our 7th and 8th grade students.
