Excitement is building as we prepare to celebrate our 8th graders and all they’ve accomplished! With special field trips, a celebratory breakfast, and a promotion ceremony just around the corner, there are several important dates and details for families to keep in mind.
Timeline of Activities
June 9: 8th Grade Field Trip to St. Martin’s University and SPSCC
June 12: Last day to turn in assignments; 7th-8th Grade Dance (3-4:30PM)
June 13: 8th Grade Field Trip to Arcadia Boat Ramp for a Canoe Trip, beach time, and lunch
June 16
9:00 AM – Special 8th Grade Breakfast
10:00 AM – Promotion Practice at school
12:20 PM – Students may go home to get ready or stay at school until 3:00 PM
4:15 PM – Students return to school to line up for promotion
4:30 PM – Promotion begins in the Gym
June 17: Last day of school, Field Day, dismissal at 12:00 PM – call to excuse your student if they will not be attending
