We encourage family involvement at Hood Canal
Family members are welcome in the classroom as volunteers and visitors, to attend lunch with their student, and to attend events and assemblies.
Visitors
For the safety and security of our students visitors need to sign in for each visit at the office and pick up a visitor’s badge. As a courtesy to our teaching staff and to coordinate their schedule with yours, please make an appointment to meet with the principal, or your student’s teacher.

We currently have the following areas of need:
*Playground Supervision
*Classroom assistant
*Nurses Office Helper
*Field Trip Chaperones
Volunteers and Volunteer Responsibilities
Parent volunteers provide valuable support services to many aspects of the school community.
To ensure the safety and security of our students, every school volunteer must complete a Volunteer Disclosure Form each school year and pass a background check before volunteering. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact your student's teacher or stop by our Front Office.
