DSHS has started sending expungement notices by mail and through the P-EBT text update program. What does this mean? If your child's P-EBT card has any benefits remaining and the card has not been used to make a purchase within 274 days (about nine months), the benefits are "expunged" or removed. To avoid this, make a  purchase. Once P-EBT benefits are removed, they cannot be replaced.

To get the latest information about your account, sign up for P-EBT text updates or for more information call the P-EBT Contact Center at 1-833-518-0282.
